new23 provides a wide range of video and multimedia services for bands, festivals, VJs, record labels and promoters within the music industry. We work across musical genres and are equally happy working with emerging acts as with world-renowned artists.
current projects
new23 have recently produced a live DVD for Manchester band The Whip. The DVD is a bonus giveaway with the purchase of The Whip’s debut album ‘ X Marks Destination’, released on Southern Fried Records. The Whip’s myspace.
In conjunction with Consequential Films, new23 are proud to be involved with the national Hope Not Hate campaign and we look forward to bringing you musical highlights of this year’s events. More information.
We will once again be providing camera crews and live coverage for some of the year’s best live events and festivals. For 2008 we are also working in partnership with Helios, a collaboration of VJs and artists, to provide interactive live video installations at events across the UK and into Europe. Dizzee Rascal goes Supersonic. A series of virals for the nikesupersonic online campaign.
Hard-Fi: A Time For Heroes. A series of behind-the-scenes video blogs made during Hard-Fi's 4 days of sell-out shows at Brixton Academy.
Industrial Resolution (with Microchunk). Camera mixing and effects for a 2-night DJ spectacular as part of the Manchester International Festival. new23 helped to fill the world’s largest ever digital screen with live coverage of DJs including Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, Sasha, DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist.
